Sorina Szakacs is a nationally recognized award-winning journalist based in New York City. Her work reached the very "Pinnacle" of scholastic journalism in 2019.
She reported for a community newspaper, the Los Feliz Ledger, where she covered COVID-19’s impact on surrounding communities in Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Atwater Village, Echo Park and Hollywood Hills.
Sorina started her M.A. in Journalism with a concentration in Business and Economics at Columbia Graduate School of Journalism in September.
She received her B.A. in English from Columbia University, School of General Studies, in May 2024 and graduated from Los Angeles City College in December 2019, with six Associate of Arts Degrees, two in Journalism.
She was born in Targu Mures, Romania.
