Sorina Szakacs is a nationally recognized award-winning journalist based in Los Angeles. Her work reached the very "Pinnacle" of scholastic journalism in 2019.

She reported for a community newspaper, the Los Feliz Ledger, where she covered COVID-19’s impact on surrounding communities in Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Atwater Village, Echo Park and Hollywood Hills.

Sorina graduated from Los Angeles City College in December 2019, with six Associate of Arts Degrees, two in Journalism. She was born in Targu Mures, Romania.
